Dr. Laura Town, DC

Dr. Laura Town is a board certified Chiropractic Physician, CranioSacral therapist, and is Webster Technique certified through the ICPA. She fell into Chiropractic after hours of graduate school applications and observation hours at physical therapy clinics caused her fingers to go completely numb. The PT she was shadowing recommended she see a chiropractor because the issue in her fingers was coming from her neck. She booked an appointment with a local chiropractor and sure enough, one treatment and the issue was gone. It was like a Cinderella story, except bibbidi-bop pity-boop was snap-crackle-pop. Her incredible experience convinced her to apply for chiropractic school and the rest is history.

A Camas native, Dr. Laura ventured out to Pacific Lutheran University for her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology, and University of Western States where she earned both her Doctorate of Chiropractic and a Bachelors of Science in Human Biology. She then completed her chiropractic internship at the department of Veterans Affairs in Tacoma which gave her great experience working with the military and veteran population and lots of chronic pain, something close to her heart as the wife of an Army Ranger. Dr Laura’s background interest in Physical Therapy has equipped her with a more holistic approach to chiropractic care. She incorporates her training in MDT (a technique for disc injuries), myofascial cupping, functional movement screening/rehabilitation, and kinesiology taping in her treatment plans to fit each individual’s needs. Prior to joining Cloud Chiropractic, she worked in and operated a fast-paced personal injury clinic which gave her critical thinking and quick analytical reasoning of a when faced with severe or acute pain. Her experience has helped her develop a patient-centered, medical approach and philosophy that allows her to address patient injuries in their entirety.

Dr. Laura joined the Cloud Chiropractic team in October of 2020 which stoked her passion for treating women through pregnancy and post-partum and their littles. She strives to provide patients with the opportunity and tools to not only get out of pain, but also achieve their functional goals independently. Dr. Laura is a team player and isn’t afraid to pass the baton to include providers in several specialties to facilitate the best possible outcome for her patients.  In the movie version of her life she can be seen spending time at the coast with her husband, Adam, her son, Luke, and her dogs Leo and Lola (a truly perfect image). Realistically she spends most of her free time cleaning, doing never-ending laundry, acting as personal butler to her son, and cleaning up after two special needs french bulldogs. The Town family also enjoys hiking, trail running/running/crewing for ultra marathons, cooking, and spending time together.

Dr. Aesha Marie Carrillo DC

Meet Dr. Aesha Marie Carrillo! She is an Oregon native and attended both Seattle Pacific University and Portland State University before achieving her doctorate of Chiropractic from University of Western States in Portland.

Dr. Aesha pursued a career in Chiropractic after sustaining injuries from a car accident. She benefitted from alternative care so much so that she became a chiropractic assistant in Beaverton before switching her major from pre-med to human anatomy and physiology and biology to become chiropractor. In graduate school, her favorite specialties of chiropractic were pediatrics, perinatal care, and women’s health. She continues to further specialize in these populations, but enjoys helping all patients with musculoskeletal concerns. Dr. Aesha addresses patient concerns comprehensively by looking not only at the neuromusculosketal system, but also taking into consideration a person’s mental health, nutrition and overall wellbeing. Trained in both manual and instrument-assisted joint manipulation and various soft tissue techniques, Dr. Aesha is happy to tailor treatment uniquely to each patient.

In her spare time, Dr. Aesha enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, daughter and two dogs, and exploring the variety of food and drink Oregon has to offer. She is passionate about singing, playing guitar, and reading fiction novels. Her favorite season here is winter, so she enjoys snowboarding and gladly welcomes a couple snow days to stay in and appreciate the cozy ambiance of the wintertime.

Carrie Tengbergen, LMT

From the flowers in her hair and her undeniable aloha vibes to the way she floats as she walks, it is as though Carrie was freshly imported from the Hawaiian Islands this morning. She was born and raised on the island of Oahu and we are pretty sure the water of the pacific runs in her veins.

Carrie decided on Massage Therapy 15 years ago due to the freedom and flexibility to travel and have kids. She’s completed over 1,000 hours of certifications from The Desert Institute of the Healing Arts in Tucson, Arizona. She has truly healing hands, appreciates every aspect of the healing journey, and has a passion for working with expectant mothers. Every treatment transports you to the islands as you listen to Hawaiian music and she completely relaxes your body and mind with massage.

While Carrie is not Hawaiian by blood, she is every bit Hawaiian by heart and soul- she dances hula, practices lei making, speaks the language, and lives the culture of compassion everyday. Carrie loves spending time with her family, and she and her husband Quinten have two beautiful daughters, Ariya and Naomi!

Luisa Villanueva, LMT

Luisa is our newest massage therapist with hands that work magic and a calming presence that zen you out during deep tissue massages. Born and raised in Alaska, she migrated back to the PNW with her sidekicks, Ian and Kylie, proving that her love for the wilderness extends beyond just icy landscapes.

Graduating from Ashmead College in 2006, Luisa is not your average massage therapist – she holds a Certificate in Sports/Clinical Treatments, making her the MVP of muscle recovery. Whether you're sore from a workout or just had a collision with your car or with your coffee table, Luisa's got you covered with a massage repertoire that could make even the toughest knots surrender. Her massage technique is like a symphony – strong, direct, yet caring and compassionate.

Outside the massage room, Luisa swaps her kneading hands for the steering wheel on road trips, exploring the great outdoors with her family.

Jennifer Molhoek - Front Desk

If you think you hear a southern drawl out of Jennifer, you’re not mistaken, she is a dag-gum native Texan, y’all! She recently moved back to the PNW with her husband Ryan and daughter Brooklyn to be closer to her Mom. Jennifer M is our seasoned veteran receptionist, as she has 30 years experience working in healthcare including surgical scheduling and pain management office work. We are so thankful for Jennifer’s expertise and familiarity with insurance and higher volume practices because she’s helped improve efficiency and productivity.  You will see Jennifer at Cloud during school hours. She is happy to not have to exist in consistent 100 degree summers, loves movies, relaxing, spending time with family, and enjoying the beautiful PNW scenery!

Vanessa Farias - Front Desk

Vanessa is our afternoon receptionist. Hailing from the misty lands of the PNW, Vanessa recently swapped the sandy shores of San Diego for the lush greenery of the Pacific Northwest, dragging along her family and two furry accomplices. Vanessa moonlights as a nursing student on a mission to sprinkle holistic care like confetti. She's not your typical college kid – she's one with wisdom beyond her years, making maturity and professionalism look like a piece of cake. Beyond the textbooks and the office, Vanessa's a local hero, donating her free time to local needs or exploring. Whether it's hiking, swimming, or camping, she loves to be outside -and when winter rolls around, she transforms into an indoor rock climbing extraordinaire.

Shelby Mack- Office Assistant

Shelby Mack is our sweet-as-can-be office manager and executive assistant. She is trained as a dental assistant, but it seems organization and management might be her calling. Shelby grew up in many different states and overseas, including Australia, England, and Korea! She moved back here to the PNW from Arizona because she missed the green, the water, and her family. Shelby exudes a naturally positive attitude and friendly demeanor, we imagine that forest creatures help her get ready in the morning and that butterflies land on her wherever she goes. Shelby has a knack for anticipating office needs, taking initiative, and prioritizing tasks which has made her a huge asset to our team. She is polite, considerate, generous, patient, understanding and she goes out of their way to make others feel special. When she’s not taking care of us, she spends time with her two dogs and her daughter, hiking, being near the water, watching movies, and reading!
