Frequently Asked Questions

How is Cloud Chiropractic different?

Our doctors offer long appointment times. This allows her to get to know your specific case and tailor the treatment towards you. We also offer low and no force alternative to manual popping adjustments. We do not believe you need to be adjusted 1x week for the rest of your life. We believe that chiropractic is one piece of your wellness program. Each appointment is different; a combination of soft tissue manipulation, stretching, therapeutic exercise as well as manipulation will be use to create your specific treatment plan.

Is Chiropractic during pregnancy safe?

Yes, chiropractic during pregnancy is safe. Chiropractic care during pregnancy is endorsed by the American Pregnancy Association. Cloud Chiropractic has a specialized chiropractic table that allows room for the growing belly. A women can lay face down fully supported by the table. Due to the presence of pregnancy hormones —specifically relaxin — there is significant ligament laxity; only low force adjustments are used during pregnancy. Our doctors have years of experience treating women though all stages of pregnancy. A complete health history and exam will be performed and a customized treatment plan will be set for your specific pregnancy. Not only is chiropractic during pregnancy safe, it can help ease common discomforts, decrease labor time and decrease the need for interventions during delivery. Our providers work closely with many local midwives and OBGYN’s to help coordinate care.

What is Webster Technique?

Webster Technique is a specific adjustment of the pelvis, sacrum and lumbar spine, the purpose of the Webster technique to balance and align these structures. When the pelvis is balanced, the growing baby has the optimal amount of room which allows them to get into position for birth.

What is CranioSacral Therapy?

Craniosacral is a very gentle manual technique that addresses dysfunction within the CranioSacral system. The Craniosacral system composed of the cranial bones, the ventricles in the brain, the dural tube, and the cerebral spinal fluid. The therapist “listens” to the subtle expressions of the Craniosacral system. Rather than fixing something, the therapist uses specific skills to help return the body into its natural state of health.
