Airway, Tongue Tie & TMJ

A young boy lying on a medical examination table with his legs and head supported, holding a colorful stack of paper plates, while a woman in a maroon top and floral skirt sits nearby and smiles. A woman with dark hair is partially visible on the left, and another person is on the right. The room appears to be an office with a desk, computer, and personal items.

We prioritize that patients of all ages can breathe, rest, and function more optimally.

At Cloud Chiropractic Clinic, we provide collaborative chiropractic care for infants, children, and adults with airway concerns, TMJ dysfunction, tongue ties, orthodontic expansion, neck pain, headaches, and sleep-related issues. We understand that healthy jaw function, breathing, posture, and nervous system function are all connected.

Our doctors have advanced training in caring for patients before and after tongue-tie release and throughout orthodontic expansion. We work closely with pediatric dentists, orthodontists, myofunctional therapists, lactation consultants, ENTs, and other healthcare providers to help support each stage of treatment. Gentle chiropractic adjustments, craniosacral therapy, and soft tissue techniques are used to help reduce muscle tension, improve mobility, and support healthy movement of the jaw, neck, and cranium.

Children going through expansion or tongue-tie treatment may experience body tension, headaches, neck discomfort, jaw soreness, or changes in posture as their bodies adapt. Our goal is to help support comfort, mobility, and healthy function throughout the process. We also care for teens and adults experiencing TMJ pain, jaw clicking, chronic headaches, neck pain, and other concerns related to airway health.

Choosing a provider with specialized training in airway-focused care is important. At Cloud Chiropractic Clinic, we take a whole-body, evidence-informed approach to help patients breathe, move, and feel their best while working collaboratively with your healthcare team.

Common conditions associated with airway obstruction:

  • Feeding/latching difficulties in infants

  • Body tension in infants

  • Jaw clicking/pain in pediatrics, especially with dental appliances

  • Sleep disturbances in adolescents

  • Snoring, sleep apnea, disruptive sleep in adults

  • Neck and jaw pain in adults
